Advice on handing out CV's while in Dubai

Hi all

I may be coming to Dubai for a week next month, and need to know how to go about handing out my CV while I am there. I have been job hunting through the job sites since last year and have had absolutely no luck at all. So, since I am coming to Dubai, I thought of carrying my CV along to drop them off at a few selected major companies.

Is this a good idea or does anyone have any advice as to how I should go about doing this?

Have you tried to post an advert in the Jobs in Dubai section? It could help.
