Work in Dubai or Oman

Hi, I am graduating in July 2013 with a honours medical biotechnology degree. I am thinking of working in Dubai or Oman.

Is there jobs for science graduates in Dubai?
I have tried to apply for many on websites but they all seem to ask for payment before I can apply.
Also my wife has graduated with honours degree in HR, is there many jobs for her out in Dubai.

Any guidance of how to get a job in Dubai would be great, thanks..
