Penang or longkawi ?

For a 3 days break, which one would you recommend? We are looking for a bit of Beach time, but also local culture, quiet (and party?!)

i suggest langkawi...it's tax free zone ...u can bring drinks very cheap there...enjoy the party till the end ...haha

now langkawi is the best because there is event called LIMA (aircrafts show)

Langkawi is dead as a party place unless go as a group. Penang isn't as nice beach wise though but mire to see in general just.

Thailand is better fir a short break!

Thanks for your advices guys! I think we Will do langkawi this time and maybe even try to go to an Island in our beloved thailand, and leave penang for later!
