Just arrived and love it already!

I am Portugues and my boyfriend American. He got a jod in the oilfield and we arrived on Saturday. At the moment we got an house already...really expensive!!!amazed with the prices....wonder if we can buy clothes online :(
Any advice for Norwegian intensive courses? I am a nurse and need to learn fast to be able to work!

You could for instance take a ferry trip from Stavanger to Denmark, I think it's to Frederikshavn , small town , however you will find cheaper clothes and other things in Denmark than in Norway.

People living in Oslo on the other hand might go to Sweden for shopping.

Alternatively, try a 2nd hand store - there is no shame in buying used clothes, many Scandinavians do, especially students and pensioners.
