Hi
I have two unlucky friends who lost their passport and money on a red bus going from Paceville this morning. Anyone who by any chance know what bus service has red busses going from Paceville in the night charging 2 euros a tickets? or perhaps their contact because my friends really need to contact them when they get sober.

This is serious and I have been doing some looking around. Where did they go to from Paceville?
All I can think of, from your description, is that this 'bus' is privately owned.
I suggest they go to the Police, in Paceville asap (that may, just may get some attention) and also tonight they go back and try to see if they recognise the 'bus' or similar.
The only official bus service that I am aware of is Arriva and their buses are not red. (Not that I am familiar with this type of nightlife or late night buses.)
Good luck!!

i know Billys in Mellieha use red mini buses for a late night service to and from Paceville... but a lot depends on where you were going to. Lets hope you and your friends get lucky...good luck.

I think Arriva have the contract  / monopoly for the bus service in Malta. This must have been a taxi service, go to the police and record it first. Then try the local taxi companies in the area they traveled too.

Oh no, I was on this bus in January I think it is privately owned he just stopped and picked my friends and I up on a Sunday night (late) but this was In floriana, didn't see any names or numbers :-(

Could it have been one of the two types of red open-top buses owned by this company? http://www.maltasightseeing.com/EN/content/1

I don't think that they run as late/early as these people wanted.

I'm pretty sure the red mini vans are owned by Wembley's in Paceville. But it's best to go to the police first because you'll just get a lot of shoulder shrugging if you go in there asking if they found anything.

If it was a mini van rather than a bus then you may want to contact these guys: http://www.maltacoop.com/
