Dear members,

I really need some help.
we are 3 20years old stagieres (trainees) working in south of France.
Les Baux de Provence to be exact, in a hotel called LB (initial for confidential purposes)

The last 2 weeks we been experiencing verbal and physical sexual harassment, racial attack, verbal abuse and breach of contract in term of working hours, job descriptions and imprisonment of living situation.

The hotel is keep covering everything up despite the reports we sent to our school, and they believe the hotel more because of their "business" rather than the victimized students.

We are locked without access to the world and given a limited internet access.
We all non-french passport holder (Denmark, Indonesia & Brazil passport).

We simply ask for help on what to do in France.
Who we could report and ask for protection.
We are being abuse in the worse way, and we can't simply leave like how normally people would do since its an internship and we need either schools approval or legal interference.

We are begging who ever out there listening.
Please help us..
Please..

Hello,

I'm really sorry to read about your bad experience.
The best now is to go to the next steps :

You can get some help from associations :

Don't hesitate to contact your embassy and the police too.

I understand that you need to get your degree but those people are playing with this to make you stay quiet. It's time to stop the game before it's finished badly.
Harassement is a crime...

Wish you all the best to get out this issue.

Dear ChristelleGM,

Thank you for your help and answer.

My colleagues are now really scared, because after we talked with the GM and the Chef who did the abuses. They are walking around with faces they going to beat us up.
They've shown a sign of physical aggression before, and the trainees all have separate hour being alone in the hotel during the afternoon with just the GM and the Chef, with the low season, we are in fear of physical beating is upon us.

We are very scared.
