Hello everybody.
I'm from Italy and my name is Francesco 28 yrs old.
I'm Thinking about coming to NZ to seek a job and work there for a while till the visa will expire, I'm looking for jobs in hospitality and tourism where i have more experience. I've been already working abroad in Uk for sometimes.
I'd like to recive some feedback from persons who did the same step as I would like to do in the near future so if you have any suggestion please just let me know.
Thanks in advance :-)

Hi Francesco - You should take the time to read the comments in the New Zealand blog forums.  Most are quite negative about foreigners such as yourself wanting to come to New Zealand without a good plan, money, and high-demand skills. You should ask yourself what it is that brings you to that place, and whether you are basing it on fantasy, government hype, marketing or movies. In all likelihood, you won't find work and could become a target. You should consider the Gold Coast here in Australia. It isn't perfect, but there are real tourism jobs in  a thriving country where the majority of the population are not xenophobes.

For work in both NZ and Australia it is best you look online at the government immigration websites to see it you qualify for a visa.

For cost of living in many countries, numbeo.com

Hi RosettaJones.
Thanks in advance for yours feedbacks, to be honest i'm also thinking about Australia as well and i know that foreigners has more chance to  get a job in the tourism industry than Nz has..
I will consider that.
I know that i should improve my english and i think some english course will help me in that.
Thank you and i hope to recive some more tips from you in the future :-)

Hi Francesco

Your English is actually very good overall and certainly better than my Italian ever was! :)  You sound very intelligent, and I'm sure you will become fluent if you keep practising.

Here is the Australian Government website for Visas:
http://www.immi.gov.au/immigration/

There are links to:

Seasonal workers
http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/seasonal-worker/

Temporary Work and Specialist Entry
http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/specialist-entry/

and Skilled Migrant.
http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general- … migration/

I think the site is very clear, although a bit complex, but you should have no difficulty understanding and perhaps figuring a way to achieve your goals.

All the best!
Jones
