It isn't always necessarily sexual desire!!!! with these men.. I find it insulting to think that these people consider myself a mature, respectable female an easy target to harrass and also a possible meal ticket!!!

The unfortunat thing in the Sharm and Hurgarda there are many gigalows using older women for sex and money ..And stupid women who give there self to these men ..but it comes with a price ..they are the ones who are paying for the mens services ..loose all there money and then cry ..they belive the ...i love you from my heart ..i have waited all my life for you .. blar blar blar .... every week same stories in the magazines ,i also know 2 women it has happend to .... these men are normaly from Luxor ...they have more freedom in the red sea area....there are pages on Face book  who talk about this kind of men ...

Egypt people are normaly friendly good sence of humer and will share the food with you ... Its a new genaration who are out for what they can get from a women ...All i can say if these men give phone number or inbox all the time ,sure as hell there after visa money sex ..so be very carfull ...

On the good side if you find a genuin egyptian man ..he is brought up to pay for every thing and respect a women he would spoil her with gifts and refuse anyhelp from a women ...its his job to honor and respect .... these kind of men are normaly over 30 years old ...no offence to anyone out there who is a good genuin man under 30 ... i have traveld to Egypt for years and love the country ...but things are changing .. so just keep your wits about you at all time ... take care

Like yourself.. I too have travelled back and forth to Hurghada many times in the last 2 years.. I have a daughter living in Hurghada married to a lovely Egyptian man that does exactly like you say.. he takes care of her, buys her gifts etc and adores her!  so does his lovely family.. I aim to move out there permanently the end of this summer.. Because i too love Hurghada and have met mostly lovely kind generous and very helpful Egyptians.. It is hopefully just a minority of egyptian men that behave that way.. but it is very off putting.

The problem is like you say.. the gullible women and girls that fall for the same old stories.. why they believe them .. i really don't know!!! trouble is it's becoming a common occurrance.
I have heard some absolutely dreadful stories from british girls and mature women. And there is nothing the law can do!

I am a mature women single for 17 years and these guys can tell me till they're blue in the face how beautiful i am bla bla bla etc.   I'm not deluded enough to believe that a young good looking guy would want a 58 year old woman for anything more than my money... not even my body!!!!!

I also appreciate that you pointed out some good examples (as there are of course many bad ones in Egypt and anywhere else) to tell others that the water glass is still more than half full.

I have thought many a time if i should pack up and move over there but im not brave enough to be on my own ,i have no family over there only friends ,all in diferent parts of egypt! so i will keep dreaming ... Take care and best wishes to you .

Elimay..it is a big risk.. but sometimes you have to takes risks in life.. I can't depend on my daughter always being in Hurghada.. so i have to make a life as though i were on my own out there. 

If you do at anytime decide to move over to Hurghada.. i will be there as a friend for you if need be.

I have not had email from my friend since he mailed me 27 april he had missed his flight and has to stay untill 21 july ... He has to relay on his friend Oliver use of lap top and oliver is not always around ( busness)trips ect ..i have to be patient and wait for any nes from him ,i have sent all the info i got from this forum ... as they say in egypt Inshallah he will be okay and get this operation ...nice to have met you ... x

Congratulations for your move to Hurghada, it is a brave decision.
