Thinking of relocating to Vietnam

I am a young growing man thinking of my future and have been thinking of moving to Vietnam because were I am in Qatar I cant see any job to do, but my problem now is that I have been told by many friends here in Qatar that there is no job one can do in Vietnam to keep life going. Please someone help is needed regarding the information on job issue in Vietnam. Thanks your help will be welcome.

The same status here, it's so so difficult to get a job now because we are in recession.

Unless you have a specific skill set your options are very limited. Even so most jobs pay a very minimal salary. My friend is a GM of a large coffee shop here in Nha Trang and his salary is 6M VND or about $300 USD per month. Another friend of mine is GM of a large 4 star hotel and his salary is 40M VND or $2000 USD per month.

If you're asked to stationed in Vietnam by your current company, things will be different. Expat packages will be given....
