Hi,

I am a native English speaker with all the right qualifications to get a job, Bachelors degree, CELTA etc.  However I would like to live and work with my girlfriend, who is a non-native English speaker.  She has a Degree from a University in Kazakhstan and a CELTA.

Can anybody tell us if we will find it difficult for both of us to find a job in Vietnam, Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh especially?

Any help would be appreciated greatly!

If you both have degrees and celta, neither of you should have an issue finding work.
If her English is fluent, you will find she has better earning potential than you :D

Yeah, that's right!
You don't need to worry much about both if you are confident. Possibly you can work together:D, if you wish. Many centers prefer couple.

Thanks guys, this has given myself and my girlfriend some hope.

But I just wanted to be sure, is my girlfriend going to face much racism in regards to obtaining a job as she looks very Korean.  I only ask this as I have friends who have worked in Vietnam and they suggested such.

Hi,

I'm from Malaysia and had no problems finding a job with a CELTA. My colleague is also from Kazakhstan, though she is blond and looks European. Good luck!

Awesome thanks a lot.
