Currently I live in Guangzhou and do have a mobile account
with China Unicom. Last week I travel to MACAU for a meeting.
Whilst in Macau I opened an e mail, read it and responded.
When I got back to Guangzhou. I was hit with 2000 RMB for this service. In general like other countries it is the responsibility
of the mobile carrier to send a warning massage once we hit
the ground of another country ( it is a common thing ) assuming
China Unicom did send me such message  How am I suppose to read
Chinese and understand that I have been warn about the mobile use outside China. What is you opinion ? Do you feel I should be reimbursed for the money that I paid. Thanks .Marque.

Fred

No.
Everyone knows mobile companies charge silly money for outside area calls.

Next up. The provider tells you in your contract, not with a warning SMS.

As your words, you opened your cell phone and replied to an email. This means you were fully aware that your cell phone has a rooming service.
Did you really think that such a service is for free :lol::lol:, dude come on you are on earth "nothing is for free now except the air".

Are you complaining that the Chinese service from a Chinese company in China sent a message in Chinese?

I am sorry to hear that.
Anyway, I think you should pay. Complain is useless.
