best way to ship personal effects from jeddah to NY

My contract is ending in March 2014. I am looking into the least expensive way to ship my household treasures, (carpets, lamps, wall hangings, coffee table and sofa table, clothing) home. I have been searching on line for days and am batting zero. Any recommendations?

Hi there,

One thing you could think about is sharing a container with someone else who is leaving. They may be going earlier or later than you but it would be worth it to share the cost. You could advertise on EB and on compound notice boards.
