Freeport Zone is kind of boring, some shopping and such. Depends on what your interests are. If your a beach person, can go up to Baloy beach, about a 20 minute taxi ride but I think it is pretty quiet due to the rainy season. If nature, Subic does have the only jungle area left, thanks to the US military who forbid logging.

Unfortunately, the bridge on SCTEX that links Subic to Angeles collapsed so it adds another 30 minutes to the commute, so not easy to get in/out of Subic.
