Likewise, if you would like to consider a native speaker (growing up with a mother that is a business instructor) at an affordable negotiable rate, please send an e-mail to vietnamdavis[at]gmail.com. I'd rather not post my personal phone number here but will give it to you by e-mail.

in my first week back in VN HCMc I have been accosted:P 3 times in the parks, always by young people wanting to learn english, each time it has reaffirmed my desire to live here on a permanent basis, the people are so friendly and open of course there is the down side ,which is when some people on the forum attach a $$$$ value to such an exchange of cultures, the park is a non threatening area and any one can join in and i do mean any one LoL to all who love this life, Mark:one

Well I am sure everyone has there own learning expectations and what they want to achieve. Of course you can do so by going to the park to speak with Native Language speakers. But how long would it take you to be on the way to being able to use English more effectively?

That is why there are institutions called schools where people pay $$$ to go and study. I do have my own English Club for people to come and improve their communications skills for free but this is just a form of a leisure activity for people to come and make friends and have fun. Although learning is the focus, it would take them a much longer time to achieve their goals in language learning.

I sure what Mr Eric wants is a professional learning environment and not an exchange of culture in the park so I don't really see any down side in him or anyone else attaching a $$$ value to it. :D

Sure Dathan,

Actually we are a group of colleague working in a same firm. Our goal is improve English skills to communicate with our partners/ customers in a reasonable period.

Of course we have and willing to pay $$$  (-:

Thanks
Eric.
