questions about residency perks in Belize

I've heard quite a few answers to this question. When you gain residency status here in Belize, can you then bring over a shipping container of your stuff, wherever your from, Dutyfree!? If so/ if not what are the procedures ,regulations ,or experiences that you've had. Thanks for helping me to clear this one up.

If you are accepted into the QRP program (Qualified Retirement Person), then you send in the list of your household items to the program and they approve them. You need to have that approval before you send them so that you have the approval documents to give to customs. Then you can bring those items in duty free.

Not in the QRP Program, or follow the procedures, you will be paying at customs.
