HELLO, WE HAVE SPANISH PASSPORTS AND ARE ALREADY HERE IN UK, BUT OUR GIRLS ARE 18 AND 21 YEARS OLD AND ARE STILL IN SPAIN BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE SPANISH PASSPORTS , THEY HAVE US PASSPORTS.
SO , IF THEY COME AS TOURISTS, CAN THEY DO SOMETHING TO STAY WITH US ? BECAUSE WE ARE DESSPERATED , THEY ARE NOT ENOUGH GROUN UP AS TO LIVE BY THEIR SELVES , AND WE WANT THEM WITH US.
IF YOU THINK CAN HELP US, CONTACT ME
THANK YOU
SOMEBODDY SAID THAT GETTING A CONTRACT FROM A US COMPANY COULD HELP THEM STAY HERE.
AND WILL BE ABLE TO STUDY HERE ?
CONTACT ME . I'M GONNA BE WAITING TO HEAR FROM YOU

Hi Monica,

The UK has a very strict rule? if someone comes here as a tourist they cannot convert to a different kind of visa while here, and they cannot stay for more than six months. In order to change status they need to return to their country of residence and apply at a British embassy or consulate there.

I can think of three possible solutions for your problem. Firstly, could they not get Spanish passports while they are there? Then they would have the right to live and work in the UK. Secondly, since they are family members of EU citizens (you) they might be able to get an EEA Family Permit from their local British diplomatic mission. Thirdly, if they are in Spain on immigrant visas then perhaps they could use EU rules on freedom of movement to live in the UK: obviously this would not work if they are in Spain as tourists.
