You plan on giving her a Tết bonus as well?  How generous of you.  I've haven't heard of a Christmas bonus.  I've heard of Christmas gifts, however.  But in terms of year end bonuses, companies generally give it as a Tết bonus...since their workers often get that holiday off; not so much as Christmas.

As the Philippines is a heavily Christian nation and Christmas is a Christian holiday, you should give your nanny a paid-day off (or two).  So the Christmas bonus is the day(s) paid-off if you want to monetarize it.

as far as i know employers give 13month pay as bonus and if employer are generous enough they will also give christmas gift (in kind or money)it depends what u will decide.. I hope ur nanny will appreciate your kindness..

Do you know enough to name an employer who does that?  I might want to look for that kind of nanny work, too.

No guys, Nescel is talking about an extra 01 month's salary.
12th month is December and the 13th month is the additional month's salary as bonus.
