I don't know many agencies in South Africa dealing with companies in KSA to help me to find employment over there. If anybody can please help me (know of any companies looking for South Africans to work in KSA, to keep me informed, I will forward you my email if you have any details on companies looking for South Africans. Much appreciated. Thank you Shenaaz. Keep smiling :)

If you want help from people, you left out the most important bit... work as what?  What are you qualifications and what is your work experience?

Hello Shehnaaz..

Welcome to the blog.. What exactly are you specialized in ? what is your profession ? I suggest you be on Linkedin also..

It is there where your CV will be looked after by many resume seekers..

Anyways.. you can also have your details here.. Never Know where & when lady luck smiles..  :)

All the best

And you should know, unless you are coming for teaching or nursing (or as a maid/nanny), it is extremely difficult for a female to be hired from abroad.

Yes You only can work in Health Sector and Education Sector on a reasonable job if you have such experience then you can try here otherwise Saudia is not a place to try your luck so better try it in UAE or other countries in this region  :)

You can check with people from your country who works in Saudi, you can find a lot in this forum and ask them about recruiting, as mentioned, the most capable job is in health sector, the education sector can't issue a visa but they can hire you internally if you are dependent.

Trapezius

Yes the education sector can issue a visa, who told you they can't?  Hundreds of Western teachers have been hired from aboard who work in the Western schools in this country, both couples and singles of both genders.

And I didnt even mention the several hundreds hired to teach ESL at various universities, and many to teach other subjects as well.

I have known many personally for over a decade, and used to work with them some years ago as well.

Agree with you but how much? only few universities, what about all international schools, what the chance for a candidate to catch one of these, in total it will be near zero because a lot of candidates willing to came here? what do you think?

Trapezius

There are more colleges and universities than you think.

And then there are many schools which recruit fully or partially from overseas.  Western schools and also Saudi private schools which teach in English.

Chances might be low, but we have no idea what the OP's qualifications and experience are, if she is in education to begin with.  If she is in education, and has good experience teaching her subject and is a respected and liked teacher, there is a good chance she can get a job here, especially in the areas where the demand is very high: primary school, and ESL at college/university.

Regardless of all this, your initial statement was that there are no visas in the education sector, and that's obviously false.

I am a pharmacist working in the community sector in the UK. I would love to move to Madina. Could I gain employment there? Or the fact that I am female hinder my application?
