Norway is pretty egalitarian when it comes to employment,most your gender shouldn't make a difference. What kind of teaching?

Have you had a look at the threads already posted on the forum? There is a lot of good information already here that might help you target your questions more specifically. As you can see, many people are looking for work here, and life can be quite expensive

To learn norwegian to a level you can get by day to day (B1) its 3 terms of school at a cost of around 6000kr depending where you study. this will take around a year its lucky to find work before being competant in Norwegian and that work would be jobs norwegians do not want (cleaners)

As for expenses... Norway is expensive full stop...  Apartments and house shares vary between 2000-8000kr a month food is expensive too loaf of bread is 40kr frozen pizza 60kr ethnic food stores sell goods cheaper.
Clothes (for men) t shirts around 300kr cheepest jumpers are 300kr winter coats are rougthly 700kr

Anyone thinking to move to norway be prepared to be looking for work for a while. I spent 60,000 kr in my first 5 months now i live off my girlfriends pay.

Teaching jobs would be close to impossible without good knowledge of Norwegian language. Baker should be possible, I guess
