Hello everyone,
I just recently moved to Jeddah from many years living in Shanghai, and prior to that I served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Kyrgyzstan. Coming here has been quite a shock in many ways, but in time I think I will adjust. 
I am curious as to whether there is a significant Kyrgyz or Central Asian expat community in Jeddah (I have many Kyrgyz friends who have traveled or moved to the UAE or Bahrain, but I don't know any who have made it to KSA). I need to practice my Kyrgyz language skills!

LOL, no Kyrgyz or other Central Asians here! I mean, I have lived here most of my life, but have never come across any Central Asians. There might be a dozen of them around at the most 
Peace Corps volunteer, huh?! So, what do you find yourself doing here?
Well, it was worth a try 
I'm teaching at a college that just opened up last year in Jeddah. It's keeping me busy - the students may need extra motivation, but overall I think they're a decent bunch of guys.
Peace Corps Kyrgyzstan 2007-2009 - what an experience! And probably one of the most beautiful countries I've ever seen, even if the infrastructure isn't there yet haha!
