Got a job offer / cost of living

Hi Friends,

I got offer to work in MY for more than one year. Company offered 8000 MYR / month. We are (from India) couple with 1 year kid. It will be appreciated, if you can answer on my below queries:
1. Room on rent (2 or 3 Bed rooms) near in CYBERJAYA
2. Food (breakfast+lunch+dinner) at home
3. Food outside for 4 days in a month
4. Commute from home to office and return back to home by local transport or By CAR
5. Recreation activities for 4 days in a month
6. Electricity cost + water cost per month
7. Internet cost
8. Mobile cost
9. other expenses
10. Tax if staying there for more than 1 year

Deepak - check out my posts in the past. I have made a couple of posts on costs that will be useful for you.

Bottom line - you will need to live quite frugally to survive in KL. The offer is not worth it. Negotiate to 10-11K minimum.
