Bus, ticket vending machine & ticket booths

Post new topic

Two questions concerning bus tickets:
1. On this site it lists where tickets are available: http://www.publictransport.com.mt/where … -my-ticket
But for both Ticket Booths and Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs) they have only the general location. Does anyone know the exact location of the vending machine & booth for Bugibba or where can I find a list with the exact location?

2. Concerning the longer tickets 7, 30 and 90 days is this always as one block or single days who can be seperated? I'm asking as somewhere I read one has to activate these.

Hi, the ticket machine is at Qawra bus station. The bulk tickets are used in order, so yes, if you only use your card 5 days a week, you need to work out the cost effectiveness.
I am not sure you can get the 30 and 90 day offer without applying for their 'smart' card first. I believe you can only get the weekly tickets from machines or drivers.

Ok, thanks for the help. I found also the ticket booth with google maps by zooming very close and panning over the complete area. There are a couple bus markers named Bugibba Bay 1, 2, 3.. in the north close to Harveys Free Bay so I went there and found the ticket booth.

Hi, no, I have no idea why Google Maps says that is the bus station as it's not, it's just a bus stop?? The second link is Qawra bus station. where you bought the tickets. You can also buy the weekly tickets on the bus.

I think that google maps are pointing out the bus stop names, which very rarely have any relationship to where they are!!
