Planted aquariums in Saudi

hi, nice to see someone here who is into planted tanks as well. i have been keeping planted tanks for so many years now. the website you saw, i think, no longer exists. i phoned them before but there was no answer. as for any plant shops here, there is a good one in dammam but i think you are in jeddah so it's too far from you. i have some good quality plants, maybe we can swap. what plants are you looking for?

there is a tropica dealer in turkey, i believe. are you getting your plants from there?

Yes, Aqua Art are still there, look them up on Facebook.   Best in the region by far.  Even shops in Saudi buy there plants from them.

sweet. i hope they do have amano shrimps or even red cherry shrimps. hopefully soon i would be able to visit their shop. anyone here wants to join me? :-)

I have called aqua art in Doha yesterday and they do have all type of shrimps and plants even filtilzers and co2 etc. I wish I can go to Doha but I prefer going to turkey as I get to visit family and friends at same time 

Ya I get my plants from tropica and my favorite is 1-2 Grow! Sometimes I buy from local shops if it was plant I like. But i really like to bring some shrimps not sure if it's legal to bring cross countries in flights

that is nice to hear. i get my plants online. doha is like 3 hours away from my place so i will for sure find a way to visit it soon, inshallah. i really need some amano shrimps as i am having a difficult time with bba.

what plant species are you keeping? are you using presurrized co2?

Hope you mange get your shrimps at moment i got cherry shrimps i did give male and female to a shop in Jeddah now he got few of them but they really don't know how to take care of plants and shrimps here.

I had more plants but I have sold them. I use a DYI co2 at home works fine.

If anyone going to turkey istanbul its in the anatolian side of the city this the address of the shop they got all type of plants From tropica and others

sorry for the late reply. there is one in dammam but it is not entirely dedicated to planted tanks. it sells live plants once in a while so you may have to check it every now and then.

btw, i sell my excess plants from time to time. pm me if you are interested.

I see you have mentioned thar there are few good Aquariums in Dammam.
I am searching in Dammam area.
Please let me know few shops with reasonable price and good variety of fishes and tanks.
