My son's just got a job in Bahrain, (he isn't there yet, will be going in September), but we're already planning to go and visit him in the autumn half term holiday. (end Oct / early Nov)

Where is a good place to stay?

I can see there are a couple of resort hotels, but none of them seem to have any good reviews. Has anyone any recommendations?

It will be my partner and I and our 13 yr old daughter.

Ideally on the sea, but failing that, a big pool and a decent hotel.

Thanks for your advice.

Hi and welcome to Expat.com!
I'd say as everywhere in the worl: all depends on your budget!

Well, I'm not sure I can pay Ritz Carlton prices, but I'm happy to pay up to that sort of range if it's a good place.

I'd say that ideally I just want to be at a good Hotel / Resort, next to the sea, and with a good pool.

Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks.

Pitty you go only around end of the year, because during summer months most hotels have the summer rates around 45 BD per night!
