Way to go, Corinthians!!!

Post new topic

James

While the Corinthians are commemorating the first "official" game in their "beautiful" new multi-billion BRL stadium, they're certainly not celebrating. They not only lost their first home match to Figueirense, but the very first goal scored in the new venue was made by their opposition too!!! Way to go guys! Now I know why I never liked soccer in the first place.

I used the word "beautiful" since it is completely subjective. Personally, I think the stadium is one of the ugliest that I've ever seen in my lifetime, completely lacking in imagination and style. It looks like the architect was in the midst of a creative block, looked desparately around his office for some kind of inspiration, saw an old dot-matrix printer sitting in the corner and wondered, "Será que alguém vai notar?" (Could it be that anyone will notice?)

I think that Apple, Okidata or HP should seriously consider a lawsuit for stealing their design!

Judge for yourself!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I know it's only skin deep, but UGLY goes right through to the bone!
Congrats guys, on your "beautiful" new home and your underwhelming "victory".

Cheers,

I'm still trying to find the paper jam release button on the Itaquerão...... could it be that funny looking round button on the side with the red "X" behind it???? Aff..... sorry that's just the Corinthians logo!
