Hi im moving over to malta in june and need information on if I cant get a job and the 3 months runs out can I leave for a day then it goes back to 3 months or would it be longer

please let me know asap

if you are an EU citizen, and you register that are looking for work, you have 6 months before you need to register your residence (by applying for an eResidence card)

Thanks I also I have another question my father in law is coming in december and hes retired what happens with him regarding residence what does he need to know claire

for people not working - that includes people retired - they apply as self funding, and need to prove sufficient income or capital and have health cover - as long as have those, no problem (as long as EU citizen - have to see if Scotland is still in the EU in December !)
