Hello fellow expats, I've been working in Mauritius (Port Loius) for the past 2 years but due to pressure of work have had little time to enjoy this beautiful island. Interested in convivial and relaxed social activities. For instance, je suis désireux d'améliorer mon français; and watching the World Cup (at least until England get knocked out, which won't be long).

unfortunately the games will be quite late here and not sure if there will be any viewing in bars or pubs...am sure for the final they will quite some around the island. specially if England get to the final... lol

Am in similar situation as you. Work, work, work, high time to create myself a social life! Live in the North, double nationality French-Dutch, so if you wish.... je peux te parler en français également!
Happy to watch a World Cup match with you (if you dare after yesterday's match - lol) or any other convivial activity.
