Can anyone comment on private schools near OSJ or in the SJ metro area generally? (Cost, quality, location, etc.) We are looking for a school for our daughter (turning 5 years old) for one semester only. We'd prefer Spanish only or bilingual, but would consider English (e.g., Robinson School) if that was the best option in other regards. Thanks!

Perpetuo Socorro is in the Miramar neighborhood. It is a good school. Costs about $8K per year. The problem with only needing one semester is trying to get excluded from having to pay the Capital Fund fee, which is a few grand. All the private schools charge it as far as I know. It's an initial cost required when you first join the school. Perhaps you can get it reduced or get an exemption. Make sure to ask.

I believe most people put their children in Bilingual schools to get English not Spanish....when they say Bilingual the school is primarily English.  What about checking out some of the better public schools that are all Spanish.

La Casa Montessori in Santurce (lacasamontessori.com) has been highly recommended to us by friends so we will probably investigate that place. Thanks for the suggestions.
