Hello,

I am new to the form. I am from USA and my wife is from VN. I met my wife about 7 years ago in VN. After 2 years of dating long distance, we married and she moved to the USA. It has been about 5 years now and we are thinking of possibly moving back to VN after she graduates college (she is in a 5 year nursing program).

We will be going to VN for vacation first part of 2015 to visit her family. This will be her first trip back to VN since she moved here 5 years ago. We will be looking around for a small city or village to possibly retire in on the coast (No Big Cities) and maybe start a small B&B or something to supplement our income until I can retire full time. We plan on keeping roots here in the USA.

I hope to chat with some people who have taken the leap and moved to VN.

I am a middle class American and will be living off my savings when we move to VN. My wife can work in VN no problem. She has a college degree in VN and will have a degree from USA, she made a good living in VN before she moved to the USA.

Anyone have any Experience?   Tips?

Welcome to Expat-blog!
I think Vung Tau or Nha Trang may be suitable locations for you to retire. Both are coastal areas with so many expats living peacefully. Hope you can meet some of them from this forum.
