Hi

I am to marry my Moroccan fiancé in Agadir Morocco next year and I am looking for as much information as possible as to what is required in regards to legal documents and time scales. I have looked on the gov.co.uk website and also the rabat consulate website.

So far I have found that I need to take my documents to rabat in morocco which are:-
. a full birth certificate from my local registrar
. a full police check from my local police authority
. my passport
. my fiancés full name and address, age, occupation and the town where we intend to marry.
. a certificate of non-impediment

We will be issued with 2 more certificates £100 each and we will go to the family court of law in Agadir to register with them.

Does anyone know if this is the correct procedure and how long it will take to get these certificates from the consulate?

If there is anything I have missed any help or information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Let your fiance check the documents needed from the related office, would be easier.

I have no idea, otherwise i would've helped.

Thank you,
