Hi Alejandro,

If you're in São Paulo then the beach is a good 2 to 3 hours away by car. Be extremely careful while on the coast the entire Baixada Santista (Praia Grande, Guarujá, São Vincente area) is a high crime area. Tourists are often the victims of serious crimes there.

Rio is right on the coast so you won't find it difficult to get to the beach there.

That's not a lot of time. But ...
Obviously see the beaches of Rio, and spend some time doing it. Drink coconut water out of the coconut. Then, try to see a smaller beach. Maybe Buzius close to Rio or Gurauja accessible from São Paulo could work but there are so many inbetween that are even cooler. That should give a fairly different impression than the mega cities.
Checkout a churrascaria in São Paulo. Try a Brahma chopp black. Eat a tapioca.
