This trip is in two distinct parts.

The first part starts on the West part of the roc, almost at sea level, and aim South and then East, to reach the 250 meters flat section. The vue to the West and the South part of the island is breathtaking.

The second part starts with a single track parth, rather accidental at times, with some sections of loose rocs, steep enough, peaking at 335 meters. From here onwards, up to the Cross at 500 meters, the track is steep enough that one should require to make use of his hands, and scrumbles through.

One should be fit. The scenery is awesome!

A feeling of peace and self-fullilment feed up each and every person having accomplished this climb.

The trip is 3 hours and rather technical.

I didn't find it to be too technical. It seems like many people do it without a guide. Here is a page with photos and a description of how to do the hike for anyone interested. exploremauritius.org/?page_id=115
