Actually your biggest worry is whether you can use the qualification outside Malaysia or could be admitted to the Nursing Board for more than 3 months (limited time for all foreigners), even though you qualify in Malaysia. Need to request some testimonials from foreign students who have already qualified. I cant see you being employable.

nirajnaik

i want to ask that how is the degree value of
victoria international college, malaysia?

Gravitas

Agreed. It is of value to Malaysians, although it is not a qualification as a nurse, just as a nursing assistant. Malaysians can apply for jobs but the question is whether you can register in Malaysia once you are qualified and work. I have a feeling you will not be able to register and work in Malaysia. Therefore its value is only whether you can use it back in India or elsewhere. You would be better to take a proper nursing degree and it would be much more useful and flexible. But of course I dont know if you have the qualifications to enrol in a nursing degree course.

nirajnaik

ok. Right. But after complited this course may i do education for higher degree. Like bachelore in nursing. What you say?

Gravitas

That is 5 1/2 years of study living on next to no money. What about your daughter. You still have to pay for schooling which gets more expensive the older the child becomes. Have you enquired how much accommodation will cost and whether the College can provide a place sufficiently large enough for 3 people?  I doubt it. Therefore you are looking at paying at least RM1,000 per month out of your own pocket and groceries will cost at least RM700 per month. Schooling RM1500 per month. Transport RM50 per month. Phones RM150 per month.  You really need to have money to support yourself. Plus fees and immigration charges RM700.

nirajnaik

ok. So will you able to help me after i come there???

Gravitas

Ask the College to introduce you to a foreign student who is working in Malaysia after completing their course.

nirajnaik

ok. I am a B. Sc. With chemistry and my is B. Sc. With micro biology, D. M. L. T., PGDBA IN SPECIALISED MENTALY RETIRED CHILD.
And my daughter is studing in standard 3.
I working as Medical Represantative.
We have one medicine shop. My wife operating that. And she doing social work for mentaly retired child. She has 6 years experiance as medical labaratory technician.

This is all about us. So please guide me what i do for come to Malaysia for living there???

Gravitas

To be honest, I think you should train as a teacher as you already have a specialty in mentally retarded children. Taking the nursing assistant diploma is a backward step. Perhaps you should investigate that. Teachers can become internationally mobile. Science is quite in demand I think, but a mainstream subject such as mathematics is also good. Just a thought. Giving private tuition is also possible. It a job for a life time. But you would need to have very good English skills as well. Sometimes schools offer free education for children of teachers as well.

nirajnaik

ok. But teacher is my wife's profession. So can you able help us for get direct job from here??? So we can come there on direct work permit. What you say??

nirajnaik

ok. Thanks a lot.But for me where can i find the job?

Gravitas

You train your wife works. You wont find a job unless it is as a teaching assistant in science perhaps. You qualification in handicapped children is very useful i.e. remedial learning should be developed. Your wife is the key to working and living in Malaysia

nirajnaik

so what you think? Is it possible that we can come there. And work and live there? And my daughter also can do syudy there? What you guide?

Gravitas

Let your wife try and find a job in teaching in Malaysia.

You should consider getting a short course or evening course in India, that entitles you to teach e.g. all degree holders can normally take an paedagogy specialty education course and see if you can get some experience in some way.

nirajnaik

ok. But this kind of even
ing course facility is not available where we live. So what we do for come there for work and live in malaysia??? Please guide us as you can much beast. We must be thankful for your help.

Thanking you.

Niraj.

Gravitas

I have no personal experience. Most of the colleges are mediocre, which is why Malaysian qualifications are rarely accepted overseas.

They are often full of unmotivated and poorly educated students, doing what you are trying, i.e. making a life for themselves in Malaysia.

What they do is skip the education and work in bars and restaurants for RM1300 per month and live 10 to a flat. either on student visas or on Foreign Worker visas. The latter category cannot bring any family with them to Malaysia.

It is not a way to live for a person with a degree and a family.

This course is a waste of time and money for you. It will not get you any long term future in Malaysia.

No-one can help you - you have to organise your future yourself in a logical and sensible manner. Because you have both got sidetracked from your qualifications, it is going to take more preparation.

I know you will come, because I can see by what you write the type of person you are. So lets finish this discussion now and you take your own decisions and waste your own time and money and no more of mine.

nirajnaik

ok. Right. Thank you very much for your valuable guidence. But you prediction is very wrong. Because i am absolately agree with you. i will not come for spoile my life as you said. I am agree with your guideline. But can you please help me for find the way for coming malaysia for work and live with my family???? Or sugest the any other place where can we settle our life????? So please guide us. We must be thankful for you lifetime.

So please do needful. I will do that only which you say.

nirajnaik

so tell me please??? What can i plan for go abrod? And where can i go???

nirajnaik

can anybody ready to help me for guide me which i want??????

Gravitas

Teaching

nirajnaik

so can you able to help me for getting teacher job for my wife dor mantely retired child??

nirajnaik

hello,

I am from india. I am looking for job Special Education Need Teacher. I am still not found any job. So can anybody help me for find a job?????????

Niraj.

Gravitas

Your wife should be leading your job search in Malaysia, as she is better qualified than you to get a any type of teaching job in an international or private school. Special needs jobs would require local languages.

nirajnaik

but how can i find that from india?? I trird on all website which you gave. But i did not get any respond. So now what i do?? Tell me please?????

Gravitas

Applying for teaching jobs is best done directly to schools by searching their websites. Any application process is going to take time, i.e. 3 months or longer. The international schools are on holiday in Malaysia at the moment which will add further delays.

nirajnaik

ok. But where can i find that website? And is it possible to get job by this way????

Gravitas

If you dont even have the initiative to search on the internet for a list of international schools in Malaysia, I am afraid there is zero chance. Of course a person can get jobs if they are qualified and experienced by applying directly to a school for an advertised vacancy. But it takes time. A realistic target would be 1 year. Schools are currently recruiting for term 2015-16 to start in August 2015. A few need teachers immediately. See what Nilai international school need at the moment.

nirajnaik

i already aply there. But don't get any respond.

Gravitas

From what you have written previously, you are not even qualified or have the necessary experience to apply for any of the jobs they are advertising - so its not surprising you dont get any responses!

In Malaysia the usual format is: "only shortlisted candidates will be contacted".

As I KEEP REPEATING to you, your wife should be applying for jobs. She may be successful. You will not.

nirajnaik

yes. I appied for my wife only. Not for me. But still i don't get any response. Can you help me some how if i send you my
wife CV??? I cancle that nursing program. Now i will not on any student visa in malaysia.   And now  can you advice me please how can i come Malaysia and work and live with my family easy way?

nirajnaik

can you help me please???????

nirajnaik

can anybody able to help me
please here????

Gravitas

Your wife should apply herself. I suspect you will not be able to really represent her successfully and she would need an extremely good CV, which only she can write. You sound like a very strange person who is doing things behind your wife's back.

nirajnaik

no my wife is with me now. We togeather doing this. And we both ready to come and  want to settle there. So please guide us if you can. We must be thankfull for your help. Hope you can understand us.

Gravitas

Just keep checking out over and over again all the vacancies in schools in Malaysia.

For example:

https://www.tes.co.uk/jobs/jobsSearchRe … bsMap_Asia

There are new schools opening up all the time and many of the Private schools will take non-English mother tongue teaching staff who have good experience.

https://www.tes.co.uk/jobs/jobsSearchRe … bsMap_Asia

Just search the web very actively and all the schools. You can find a list from here:

http://schooladvisor.my/schools/

Plus try to search on JobStreet, Glassdoor, Careerjet, etc.

IMPORTANT - if you wife has a gap since she last taught, she may need to apply for a job as a Teaching Assistant to get started in Malaysia.

Gravitas

This is the job page from Global Indian International School

http://www.globalschoolscareers.org/opportunities

Your wife may want to also send a prospective CV offering her services.  Just make sure her CV is absolutely mega good with plenty of information about her teaching skills and experience. Lots of detail about methods of teaching and assessment etc. etc. not just a list of jobs.

nirajnaik

ok. Thank you very very much for your valuable guidence. We will never forget your this help. We will try to come by this way at malaysia which you guide us. If i required you further help we  will tell you again. Once ahain thank you very much.
