Where is good for live music in Mauritius? So far, heard one great guy called Zulu at Kenzi Bar in Flic en Flac. Would love to find some other places to go. He played acoustic guitar and harmonica and had a great raspy voice. I love all sorts of traditional music with a good rhythm and soulful singing.

I would love to know the answer to this too. I just relocated here recently, two months old now and I haven't found some regular live music spot. I would love to check out jazz/funk/blues and soulful bands if there are any. Would appreciate any pointers on this thread. Cheers.

Hi Njukey

I got some advice on the Expat Mauritius blog here too: https://www.facebook.com/groups/expatmauritius/

I was recommended Banana Beach Club in Grand Baie and the group Snatosha Refuge Community https://www.facebook.com/groups/Santosh … Community/

Hope that helps!

Hey Tessa85,

Thank you for sharing the links, I did not know this site has a Facebook group page. I've sent my request to join that and the other group. Hopefully something will spring up soon.

I have been to Banana Beach Club, do you know on which day of the week they have a live music?

Thank you.

Hi Guys,

The best place to enjoy live music with dinner is Dommanie Ana Flic en Flac. If you like to just chill out and enjoy music than there is nothing better than Le Sapain in Rose Hill. Banana bar is good too.

Cheers
