Can anyone help with regards to banking between the UK & Bahrain...?
When we move to Bahrain, we will still have finances in the UK so will need to keep a bank account here, we would like to be able to transfer money between the 2 accounts, at minimal costs. What would be our best options and banks to use? TIA

I have a majority of my salary sent to my US bank account, and "living funds" I have put into my local HSBC account. Seems easy enough and HSBC is a good card to have internationally. I know there is a Chase bank here as well that would probably work.

To transfer money, I always use Bahrain Financing Company. They have branches all over Bahrain. They seem to have the best rates when it comes to exchange and also you can transfer money back to the UK only for 5 BD. I am highly pleased with their service.
