One of the major issues with working in France is language. I would say that alongside Italy, it is one of the European countries where English is less likely to be spoken in companies. It is far more prevalent in Malaysian workplaces. Of course you also need to get permits to work and live in France. Internships are more easily arranged, but without language skills (and existing international working experience) it would probably be a tough option. The social environment is also quite different from say Malaysia or even the Far East. The work stresses and strains are extremely high and employees rather competitive, much more than here. People work hard play hard in Malaysia quite often. I think you will find that aspect is different in France to some extent. However, its a wonderful country to visit and has some extremely interesting aspects to enjoy.

Thank you very much for the advice. It really was an eye opener to know this. Much appreciate it. I guess it is difficult to do so...

Depending on your skills and qualifications, I would encourage you to apply for jobs in the UN and other International organisations in or around France. This includes UNESCO in Paris and others in Lyon and elsewhere. In neighbouring Switzerland you have copious amounts of organisations in Geneva. Because you are Malaysian you may find it easier to get work as there are quotas based on nationality. However, unless you speak two of the official languages it can also be hard to get in. You would need to apply for "P" jobs (professional category) as these recruit overseas candidates rather than local residents.

France is a nice place but unfortunate full of french people so best avoided as they don't speak English well ;)

Actually Paris is best avoided. French will tell you that! France is nice to visit but jobs are hard as it is a socialist country with job protection via unions laws and therefore lots of unemployment/inefficiencies. Rather like rest of Europe really.

I heard that the french do not like english. You can speak other languages but they irk english😜

I do like the english as I like everyone who is nice and they eat roast beef which I think is degutant.

Chateaubriand is even better than over-cooked roast beef (medium rare is not that popular in the UK).
