Renewal of Contract Job in Bahrain & School Admission

Hi,
(Hi,Farhaz, I have came across some of your posts.It's more practical & useful.)

I am planning to come to Bahrain, in next March-April,2015.I got a job in Govt of Bahrain on contract basis (with family status) for TWO years.I have following queries, such as:
1.Is this contractual job gets extend automatically or not.Since I am in a permanent Govt. job here.Do they offer permanent job?
2.Can I get a nursery school admission in a Indian (CBSE) school.As I have read that session starts from April,2015 & my family will join me in somewhere May-June,2015.

Herewith I hope suggestions to come.Please reply.Thanks.

Congratulation for your job offer. Hope that some members may shed some light soon enough. I think it's for two years and after that they renew your work visa until you are eligible for permanent visa.

Hope that members who have been through the same steps as you will be able to confirm you exactly what to expect.

Finally I have my VISA & moving to Bahrain soon.
Can you please suggest which area are the preferred area in terms of safety, connectivity & near to any Indian schools.Where I can have morning or evening walk with family. How can I search/find a house on rent in Bahrain.

What-else I should prepare before leaving India.

Hi,
First of all congratulations!

I would suggest you to come to Bahrain alone, settle down and then get your family. When you are here you could go around check out the schools and near by areas and then decide on the place to stay, you colleagues could give you valuable info. and you must go through the below posts,

Dear Members,
Thanks for your response.
I can bring 400KG Cargo in two installments,within six months starting from the first day at Bahrain.Can anybody please suggest the following, such as:
1.What  things I should bring .
2.From Kitchen side.
3.Can I book cargo after initial verification of facilities at Bahrain.
4.All the furnished house comes with  RO system fitted or not. Whether I have to bring RO system(Luminous make,220V) from India & that to it will work there or not.
5.Can anybody give any idea about 'Electricity & Water Authority of Bahrain'.

Hi,

You get fully furnished apartments here including kitchen items, and what every extra you need you will get it here in any super market why do u want to go everything from back home? you may be spending a lot don't think its worth it.
