Driving to Malta next year.

Hi all
Going to drive to Malta next year via Dover and would have owned my van for 2 years and easier way to bring belongings and dog.
Has anyone done this in a van and want to find out a rough costing.Thanks

Check out viamichelin for route infromation and cost regarding tolls estimated petrol
also there is a forum post where others have driven to malta from the uk on here

Thanks Rob have looked and not to bad cost but did not give a price for Ferry to Malta but detail is excellent.

We drove to Malta a few months ago with the van...the ferry from pozzallo to Malta was very expensive. We paid 600 euro(for 2 passanger+ 5m long van)

Wow, that is expensive. I guess that's what happens when one company has a monopoly on the route to Malta, they can charge what ever they want. Grimaldi used to do quite cheap prices from Genoa and Rome, but they stopped serving Malta a few years ago I think.

Thats expensive just for the ferry,I think it must be the van size that contributed to price.I will still drive when i go as want to take my dog and according to the blog that is around £600.
