I have plans to
Move back to Vietnam Ho Vhi Minh as I am getting marry to my Girlfriend who is a Bietnamese but our child will be born in Singapore...

Can I buy a house here and car?

Yes you can but the procedure can be troublesome because the law is still new.

Having considered the matter myself I just couldn't come up with a good enough reason to own a car in VN. Even with a child it's the most logical way to get around. But with a child on board it's a bit more nerve racking to be sure.
I also have considered buying a house which would be easy for me as I am married to a Vietnamese national but the rents are so inexpensive here I found I could rent anything I wanted at a far lower overall cost. For investment purposes I suppose the matter might be considered differently.

So currently you are renting and going around with a motorbike... But you are employed by a international company...

HaHa. Not exactly. I run a Charity School. I'm pretty sure most associates of even International companies use scooters. I might be wrong.
