New to Bahrain

Post new topic

Hi Everyone,
It looks like the family will move to Bahrain in about a month or so. I'll actually be working in KSA on the border and coming 'home' to Bahrain for the weekends. or maybe twice weekly.

Any tips for a newby in the area? I'm still looking through various threads.

One concern I have has to do with driving across the causeway - I heard there were some particular requirements about driver's licenses and insurance but I don't know the details.

Is there any issues with my renting a car (either in KSA or Bahrain) and crossing the causeway regularly?

Thanks,
Mike
