Can anyone advise if my wife needs to change her passport, as in her current passport she is not wearing a head scarf and she has been told by a friend that she will need to do so. BTW she is Syrian and I just realised that my English is terrible in this paragraph!!!!!!

musicman

Its not necessary at all. She can have her passport picture as it is without any hassle from anyone, whatsoever.

bhills2153

Thanks MM!

beezer

That's hilarious, haven't heard that one before. Imagine that...don't give them any ideas :p

MisterStretch

She is fine without a scarf in her PP photo or in real life.

DesertDog

My wife's been in and out of the country many times, no need for headscarf in passport photo - sounds like an urban legend to me?

Alliecat

No scarf but we have to wear niqabs :dumbom:

I don't have a headscarf on my passport and have had no problems so far, but someone advised my husband after I arrived that I should get photos taken with a scarf for my iqama and other ID. I don't know if it does make a difference but we took extra photos just to be safe.

bhills2153

thanks all.

I did not know you were into cross dressing!:lol::lol::lol:

musicman

theres no such thing as CD in this new universe of Unisex.... clothing. would you consider a woman wearing jeans and shirt to be a CD, too, I wonder?

In that case Musicman, I will pay $50 to see you wear a pair of high heels and a short skirt and walk down the streets of Riyadh. Will anyone raise me?:o

Sparrow

Yip, I raise you, but I already seen him dressed in his Borat Man-kini...black fishnet!! Designed by Alliecat. And we didnt have to pay if was free imagination!:lol:

Alliecat

No problems, can be done without a fuss. Thanks to Abhayas. But the stakes are too low. May we add a few more zeros to that number?

bhills2153

Sure $000050. Considering there are more zeros now, you will have to loose the abaya.

musicman

That certainly looks a better offer reading from right to left. Lets negotiate?

bhills2153

Ok you can do platform heels instead of high heels

musicman

how abt we agree on $000,000,000,50

Sparrow

Mistake BHills - as MM says we read from right to left in this kingdom. You owe MM bigtime now

bhills2153

Not quite, first he has to complete the task, then we can talk about the earnings!

PS: English is from left to right!

musicman

bhills has not done his homework yet, no one speaks "english" here.

bhills2153

Thats actaully very funny.

Musicman I just realised that your a cross dressing comedian!!!!!!

But until you complete the task you may just be labelled a "chicken"!!!!!

musicman

thats OK, we ea chicken here..... anyone want a bite
its obvious you cant afford the price
never mind
i will manage with he tax free petro dollars i make, anyways
thanks for the compliments
i guess its a part of your culture, calling names,  mean?

bhills2153
