My wife has a degree in Info Mgmt. Can she work in family visa?

Dear all,

I brought my wife in kuwait this month. Can she apply and work in family visa? I heard if she has a university degree she can easily transfer to work visa. Please share your info.

no, she cannot. not until one year passes of her being a 'house wife', unless you have wasta.

she can get a job, but she will not be able to transfer her residency.

She can get a job only if we have any wasta or transfer to work visa if we have wasta. Please clarify.

companies CAN hire her, but if they do not have WASTA her residency will NOT be transferred as she has not completed ONE YEAR in Kuwait as a HOUSEWIFE.

Some companies may shy away if they find out she does not have a transferrable residency tho.

and in the end the wasta is not yours to have, but the company that accepts her.

play dumb, have her apply to places, if they are unfamiliar with the laws, and agree to hire her, they wont let her go. but im telling you straight, given that she has not been in kuwait for a year, it will be IMPOSSIBLE to transfer her residency to a company.
