Living near Tuol Sleng?

Just found a great apartment right near Tuol Sleng on Street 113. Don't really know the area. Are there any bars, restaurants and most importantly supermarkets close by? Replies appreciated as need to make decision quickly. Thanks everyone.

Please be sure that you are in Phnom Penh and negotiating your apartment. Dont be fooled by anyone and make any down payments or rent.

Be aware of scammers!

It is always to have a good choice and feel in real. Touls sleng is not a good place. Keep looking.

Thanks for your reply. We are living in PP now and have seen the apartment. We just can't decide about the area. Appreciate your help. Do you mean it is not safe to live around there?

I lived in the area for six months (on St 350) in 2014. I did not find the area unsafe. The problem was that there were not enough bars, restaurants and supermarket around. In the last year, there have been a few additional restaurants in the area but you still have to go to BKK1 for bars and supermarket. If you have a vehicle then it is not a big issue since BKK1 is really close.

Thanks for the info. We have had a proper look around the area now and agree not too much there. We don't have own transport so will probably have to look elsewhere.

You can always ask go to an agent and see what they have . try looking on this site
