Would appreciate if you could recommend me a good and cheap Studio Type Apartment for rent in Ubon Ratchathani downtown area near or walking distance to Ubon Ratchathani University? What are the tenancy agreements?

You may be best to do a Google search. Have the university got any contacts for accommodation? Perhaps try a guesthouse or hotel for monthly rates. That will give you time to look around for something suitable.
