virtu ferries -issues due to crash

NOTICE RE: M/V JEAN DE LA VALETTE

Virtu Ferries announce that there is a temporary rescheduling and changes in their Malta-Pozzallo-Malta Service.  M/V JEAN DE LA VALETTE made slight contact with the quay in Pozzallo Port during berthing this morning.

The M/V SAN GWANN is being deployed as a substitute vessel. Until repair works on M/V JEAN DE LA VALETTE are complete the service with M/V SAN GWANN will be a passenger only service.

All voyages as from this evening’s Pozzallo / Malta  voyage will be performed as per schedule by Catamaran M/V SAN GWANN until further notice.

All passengers booked to travel on our service are being contacted. Virtu Ferries will be issuing statements on a regular basis for the general public to be kept fully informed of travel arrangements.
