Hey guys just joined . I visited DR and fell in love with the place. Returning to buy an apartment. What should I look out for? And be wary of?

Welcome and yes where are you looking. Remember living here is vastly different than coming on a vacation. You should think about renting a place in the area you are interested in for a few months before you buy anything.

Please do some reading and come pack with questions.

Thanks guys. Sosua and caberete are the places I am interested in. Want to rent it out for a while anyway

There are lots of rentals available at all price ranges. It is good that you are going to rent before jumping in to something. Let me know if I can provide any info for you. We live between Sosua and Cabarete.
