Does anyone know what the rules and regulations are for expats to get a divers license and own a vehicle?

hi...owning a vehicle is easy...just produce the money and you can buy whatever you want....provided you are in a city that doesn't have restrictions on the sale of new vehicles...some of the large first tier cities have restrictions.... simply to attempt to curb the number of vehicles on the roads....
You don't need a Chinese drivers license to own a vehicle....
and depending on if you have a valid current license issued in the same country as your passport was issued...it can just be a matter of sitting a theory test... to obtain a Chinese drivers license....
The theory test has changed about 2 years ago.... previously it was very easy....now...its dam hard...but now its available in English for you to learn......
All the questions are Multi Choice answers....
