Bhavna

Hello there stoner68,

Welcome on board  :)

You will find some links to jobs website in the following article : Work in Belize

You may also drop an advert in the jobs in Belize section so that to be contacted if an opportunity arises.

Best of luck,
Bhavna

Ok great ... Thank you so much for the help.

You are unlikely to be able to get work in Belize in those categories and if by some fluke you could legally find such a job could you live on a Belize truck driver salary of approximately 4$ an hour or less. Its a tiny and poor country the minimum wage where enforced is $3 Belize ($1.50 US) an hour.

Unlikely to get that type of job as all done by locals. Will reiterate whats already been said the wages are likely to be around $40 BZ per day thats $20 US

As a general rule, I would not plan on coming to Belize to work, or to find a job.
If you can support yourself and create a business that employs Belizeans, then you can 'work' as a business owner. However, you cannot sell anything to Belizeans before you attain permanent residency or citizenship. What this means is that you can create a business that caters to visitors, tourists, and ex-pats, or a business that is run by you from Belize, but not actually in Belize. An IBC or LLC.
After you attain permanent residency or citizenship, you can trade and barter with Belizeans, AND you can also get a work permit and  work for gainful employment, if you can find a suitable position.
