Post new topic

Hello,

I heard there are new regulation in Malta for driving scooters? Apparently, you can drive up to 125cc with a car licence. Is it true, or are we still stuck with 50cc only?

Thanks

True according to the budget document currently on the finance ministry's website but it comes into effect next January. Road license for up to 125cc has been reduced to 10 euros.

Thank you, but does it mean you still have to pass a test?

also sorry, I feel like I am asking you to feed me, but would you have the link by any chance of this information?

Thanks a lot !!

As long as you have a car licence (B) you don't need to take any tests.

I'm afraid I couldn't find a link to an English version of the budget document. The Maltese version can be found here

The matter we are discussing is found at the bottom of page 100.
