Sorry about that.  Can you prove that your marriage is real for example how long have you known eacthother . Was your marriage celebrated and was family present. How often do you communicate. Do you visit eacthother. Do you know eachotherw family. Is it common from where you come from to marry older partner . Hope you get concrete case as you appeal. Best of luck!

Hi, Can I apply family reunification even my partner income last year is from unemployment but he is working now. His income last year is above the requirements they need. And when they say future income was it mean like his income right now since he is working. Thank you.

Your family immigration can be denied on two major grounds:

1. If your marriage is deemed fake.

2. If you or your partner do not meet the financial requirement.

Good morning everyone!
Please can someone gives us an idea/opinion or suggestion what we will do about our case.Yesterday i got a letter from UDI that my application for family immigration was rejected, the reason is my husband's salary is not enough for the required minimum salary. But on his tax return its more than the required minimum salary. He has a work but few months ago he got sick and got a money from NAV and the UDI said the money from NAV was not counted as income. We will appeal it hopefully someonee here can give us an idea.Lastly i want to know, is it ok if we will get a co-sponsor with my husband like his mother/father or my brother-in law(my sister's husband) when we appeal my case?

Hello,

One of the requirements for applying a family reunification is not only that your partner reached or exceed the yearly income but he must also did not have any social help from NAV. Having that will actually complicate the case and most likely will be rejected. About co-sponsors I was not really sure about that and hopefully someone here can answer that part.

Hi, as long as her combined salary reached the target income requirement it doesn’t matter if she have 2 jobs. They will compute her salary as one, even if she have 10 different permanent jobs it will all reflect as one in the Skatteetaten. They only want the total annual income of her. She just have to provide you the complete documents of all her salary for the last 12 months.
